DMCA Policy

Last updated: May 10, 2026

Vid-Save respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. We respond to clear and complete notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and analogous frameworks (e.g., EU Article 17, the UK CDPA).

Important: We Do Not Host Content

Vid-Save does not upload, store, or distribute video content. The Service simply queries publicly accessible URLs on third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) and forwards the resulting direct media URL to the user. If you believe a video infringes your copyright, the most effective remedy is to contact the source platform directly, as removal there will automatically render it inaccessible through Vid-Save.

That said, if you can demonstrate that a specific URL pattern, search query, or behavior of our Service materially contributes to ongoing infringement of a work you own, we will review and act on a properly submitted notice.

Filing a DMCA Notice

To submit a takedown notice, send a written communication to dmca@vid-save.com that contains all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list);
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information sufficient to locate it (URLs, timestamps, etc.);
  4. Your contact information (full legal name, mailing address, phone number, email);
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner (or authorized to act on behalf of the owner) of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Note: Knowingly submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice may expose you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-Notice

If you believe content was wrongfully restricted, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its prior location;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, and phone number, plus consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, for non-U.S. residents, of any judicial district in which Vid-Save's operator may be found);
  5. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice.

Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to block IP addresses associated with repeat infringement at our sole discretion.
